Zoom through the streets on Solowheel self-balancing unicycle

solowheel
Inventist unveiled its latest “Solowheel” cycle at the International Toy Fair that was held in New York. It is actually a breakthrough product for people who travel shorter distances, like to the nearest train station. The product is compact in size, and since it does not have a seat, it can be carried along using the portable handle. This novel device looks pretty simple to use, but you actually need to gain expertise in keeping your balance and get it started. It’s quite difficult to get it started, as you need to maneuver your body weight to get the balance right when you are starting the Solowheel. The unicycle does not have any other controls, as the weight of your body is what actually controls the direction and speed of the vehicle.

Gyroscopes are used in this unicycle to keep the balance, and the user needs to place his legs on the side of the onlywheel that comes in between. Once you get started, the Solowheel can take you zooming through the streets at a maximum speed of 12 mph with battery backup having a limit of 12 miles.

It truly is a bizarre concept and the company reckons that it can serve as a transport that can take us to our nearest bus station or train station and can be carried all the way. However, it does not seem like a favorite option for the regular folk to come down to riding a unicycle, but keeping future trends in mind, it can be a possibility! However, it is most certainly a very entertaining and unconventional toy – if taken in this perspective!
