I have been always a huge fan of wonderful architecture and it need not always be something green. If it happens to be both spectacular and green, then that is pretty much the icing on the cake. Modern engineering is no longer just about putting something that is useful and serves the purpose. It is about integrating a sense of style and merging art with design to achieve the most spectacular structure possible. In more simple terms, green architectures is all about caring for the planet and also its looks! Zaragoza in Spain was a place that I always found familiar because of my passion for the Spanish soccer clubs, but it seems to have a lot more than just that!
International Expo 2008 under the theme “Water and Sustainable Development” in Spanish city of Zaragoza will be held from June 14th to September 14th. The expo has already given us a sneak preview of some of the best architectural designs that can be possible keeping the green theme in mind. The best designers on the planet are about to show-off their best creative skills at the expo and the designs of some of the structures already look stunning.
Considering that the theme of the project is water and sustainable development, one can expect to see the shape of Aragon’s capital city change quite dramatically in the coming weeks.
