Wind turns into light with Firewinder

firewinder

We have always known about electric lights powered by batteries or drawing energy from electricity produced from the fossil fuel or other alternate energy sources. We are also used to lights powered by solar powered batteries. However, perhaps for the first time we have come across a wind-powered light that does not require installation of a large wind turbine but it simply uses the wind blowing in the garden to power itself. The Firewinder, as it is called harnesses the power of the wind from whichever direction it blows to create a magical visual effect as it spirals creating a helix of light. In low winds, the light shines with low intensity but as the wind speed increases, it spins faster creating a bright pillar of light. Firewinder can be easily installed by simply hanging it from the branch of a tree in the garden or on the roof terrace, or it could be mounted on a post or a wall. This is one of the most innovative applications of clean energy.
