Loud sounds of the lawn mower is not something you want to listen to when you wake up, but you cannot help it as after a few minutes you will also be in the same act. Now imagine a neighborhood with intelligent lawns – lawns that can water themselves, do not require a loud lawn mower and are so green that the even the tiles and the lighting are eco-friendly. This is not a plot from a sci-fi movie it’s real and is called the Verdi Lawnscaping System.
The system has won the Gold International Design Excellence Award this year and includes tiles that are pre-seeded and interlock with a build-in irrigation system. The system comes with solar powered lights, shrub planter and path tiles and all that is eco-friendly. The tiles can also be fitted with recycled inserts such as recycled glass composite, bamboo, and even recycled plastic. The system does not require you to irrigate it with fresh water as it is connected to a pump that circulates gray water through the tile network.
These are the intelligent and eco-friendly lawns of the future. They are quite, money-saving, and self-sufficient. I don’t know about you but I surely would like to invest in the system as it also gives a silent advantage – Peace of mind!
