Eco Factor: Electric-assist folding bicycle.
We recently reported about the world’s fastest electric bike that will set you back $77,000. For those who don’t want to spend that much for a zero-emission trip to the supermarket, a Chinese bike manufacturer has come up with a low-cost electric bike called the Urbanlit-e 1603.
Bearing a price tag of £646.25, the electric assist bike features a cheaper brush type motor powered by a 36V lithium battery. The bike has a decent range of 35km after a full charge that takes about 5 to 7 hours. Moreover, the Urbanlit-e 1603 can also fold to cram into a car when needed.
