There are times when you want a change from your hectic daily routine and want to get away from the haunts of the crowd for some blessed solitude where you can enjoy a good peace of mind. Sometimes, you would like to go to the hills to enjoy a calm atmosphere or else at times, just to be alone you want to go out fishing. It is this desire which gave rise to the innovation of this fishing hut which is made of wood and ice.
The name “Unavailability”, which is assigned to this particular project is very appropriate for this hut as it implies a break away from someone’s anticipation of you putting up somewhere else. It also suggests a quality of not being present when the need arises. This refuge as designed by the Norwegian twosome Gartnerfuglen is made of a foldable wooden frame which needs to be filled with sheets of ice to form a four-square-foot cabin. This hut is spacious enough to accommodate you, a blanket, a lamp and a book; it will also keep you safe from the occasional fish bites.
This hut which can be assembled in no time not only provides you with a portable shelter which is easy to carry and unfold where ever the need arises but it also allows you to communicate and be one with nature.
