Amid increasing concerns to reduce pollution and global warming, gadgets and electricity supplies are now banking hard on solar energy. But, the raising problem today is not its demand – its supply!
According to a report from investment bank Piper Jaffray, a shortage of polysilicon solar panels will continue to crimp the potential for solar energy for a second straight year!
And pushing aside these mirror-like panels seen most often on the top of buildings, alternative solar technologies, such as thin-film solar panels will begin to pick up the slack in 2007, allowing the industry to accelerate again.
