Since childhood, we all had that inhibited fascination for ice-cream trucks, where all the children would gather around for their weekly sumptuous treat. Now, the Green Machine may not be an ice cream truck, but the allure does lie somewhere on those lines. Basically a mobile, advanced laboratory for science and technology, the Green Machine SRV facility can just as easily be set up in front of any school parking lot.
We previously discussed about the importance of educational facilities for the green minds of tomorrow. Going along that righteous progression, this conception perfectly fits into the sustainable scheme of things. Totally powered by solar energy (completely off grid), the lab space is divided into 5 workstations including CSI, Ecology, Geography, Zoology and Medical. Equipped with a SMART Board, several digital microscopes, laptop computers, and a plethora of science equipments and supplies, this enclosed space can hold around 14 students at a time.
Now the unique part comes with the intuitive and detailed training programs, where students being assigned to these respective stations must work together to come up with a definitive solution (that even entails crime solving). So, at the end of the day, the ‘green’ education is being imparted at the most basic level; and now that is our kind of education.
