The name ‘Vert’ is coined by designer Michael Tampilic as it’s a vertical garden and a provision for rainwater harvesting. As the name suggests this garden vividly saves space, water and harvests rainwater for irrigation. The tank holds 250 liters and is located behind the wooden-framed unit. Wooden planter boxes are slotted between slats on the frame as there are a number of parallel slats running horizontally, the planter boxes can be placed anywhere.

This magnificently designed beneficiary comes in handy as it not only saves umpteen amount of water but also decreases dependence of water from outside sources, puts the space to a good use, reduces erosion etc. Another nice feature of the system is the Cedar frame which resists pests. The lower box provides an excellent opportunity to plant vines that will grow upward while being supported by the horizontal terrace planks, making this product very sustainable. It uses local materials and the best feature of this system are its immense features along with the ability of insulating against heat, making it functional for anyone from any part of the world.
