Teps: A tea maker that lets you make a cup of tea in a green way

Does your regular kettle consume extra water and energy than it should? If yes, check out this uniquely styled tea maker, which is not a full-service tea maker but still saves on the energy and cuts down your bill. The Teps tea maker allows you to manually complete the tea making process. Designed by Fatih Can Sarıöz, this is a green device that uses only the required amount of water and energy while preparing a cup of tea for you. It is different from other tea makers as it is environmentally friendly and might suit a nature lover’s taste in a better way.

Teps

Teps allows a user to push a button for starting the boiling process. If you are using this tea maker, you will first need to add water to the cups and then put the lids back on these cups. Then, you may add the tea and sugar per your taste. There are holes on top of these cups from where you put the tea and sugar in. Teps then gets this mixture ready for you to drink within a short time period. As it cooks up, you may serve the beverage and enjoy a cup together with your family or friends.

This tea maker also has a special style of being carried. Just like the traditional Turkish tea trays, Teps also has a circular base pattern on which a set of cups is arranged. There is a carrying handle in the exact center from where the tea maker is picked up. The cups are detachable from the base unit and everyone can thus enjoy their own cup of tea. You may take this equipment to just any place where there is power supply and can sit together with your guests for a hot tea party.
