Tango: Go green with the teens unicycle

tango

Ride this unicycle to school or work, and when caught in traffic, ride it on the shoulder until you pass the jammed traffic and then cut in. Designed by two clever teenage brains (Ben Gulak and Jason Morrow) from Ontario this electric unicycle resembles a motorcycle yet, is eco-friendly emitting no gases. Based on the same technology used in the Segway, the bike christened ‘Tango‘ is way cooler and easy to ride. Unlike the orthodox, this unicycle has two wheels placed side-by-side, with the seat resting directly over them.

The used accelerometer technology controls acceleration and wheels – being without the hand steering controls, the bike senses the rider’s motion, following the rider’s lean on either side. Also deriving inspiration from the R6 Yamaha sports bike – Tango’s frame resembles that of the former – which helps it run at speeds of about 40 mph. Amped-up wheelchair motors and 36-volt batteries power the unicycle – that with zero emissions is just perfect for the cities, and I think must be your possession when commercialized.
