This is a killer combination that is probably the greenest innovation that you will see in the lighting industry for sometime. These spectacular LED lights are designed in such wonderful fashion that there is quite positively no other lighting device on the face of the planet that comes close to matching it when green and clean energy is a priority. These LED lights run on both solar and wind energy and that means that they can draw the charge that they need to run from either both the sources or any one.
These wonderful wind lit solar LED lights pull double-duty by taking power from two sources, solar and wind. To get them working, all you need to do is leave them hanging all day long to absorb the necessary power to be used later that night and for the wind to charge them, they only need to be spun to get charged. Designed by Yoshihiro Shimomura, a circuit designer design lecturer at Chiba University in Japan the lights also use the amazing long life of LED technology to make sure that the charge they gain lasts really long.
The light is composed of a glass, bell-shaped, vessel, which holds the LED light, circuitry, and solar panel. Wax holds the electronics inside the glass vessel and disperses the emitting light. Paper is suspended from the center of the circuitry and as the strip of the paper is blow, the light turns on. If you happen to live either in a very sunny place or a very windy one, then you can rest assured that you will have a spectacular night. If you happen to be in the middle of Sahara, then you are in luck!
