As reported by theNewspaper.com the technology developed for the Australian Navy system, is turned by a New South Wales Company into a ticketing system — a marriage of red-light cameras and noise sensors to target drivers.
It is via Wi-Fi that the system is tied together, and before the on-board hard drive runs out of space, it can hold a 10-second video and audio clip of 10,000 perpetrators. And these automated cameras that capture red light violations can be a major source of ticketing income for cities and the increasing noise violators.
