We all are aware of the deplorable sate the world’s forests are in. Unreasonable, unplanned felling of trees for commercial purposes has rendered the forests scanty. The worst brunt of this mindless deforestation has been faced by tropical forests. In our own interests and in the interest of the environment, it is high time that we wake up to the need of protecting the forests.
