Recycled Juice Pouch Gown – Roadside trash does look good on your body

materials recycled juice pouch gown
Truth be told, I’m a true eco-fashionista and so, I am all praise for the eye-catching eco-fashion creations by designer Nina Valenti of Naturevsfuture. Valenti’s eco approach recognizes the increased environmental concerns and that’s the reason why she incorporates organic materials as well as renewable and biodegradable materials in her collections. Naturevsfuture is an artistic expression of organic futurism via clothing. This time, she has taken wraps off a custom-made gown from over 6,000 used and misprinted juice drink pouches as part of a commission by Terracycle and their ‘Drink Pouch Brigade’ sponsored waste program. Her ‘Recycled Juice Pouch Gown’ is an appealing outfit made from thousands of recycled ‘Honest Kids’ juice pouches. Naturevsfuture has cut each pouch into dissimilarly sized squares and mounted them on to a silk taffeta lining, thereby creating varied patterns that cover every facet of the dress.

The bodice has been ingeniously cut into vibrant angles that extend into the bottom flowing layers with an extra long tail that flounces across the floor. This eco outfit will be worn by Ms. Soyeon Lee, a talented concert pianist, for her eco-themed Carnegie Hall performance ‘Re!nvented.’ No idea if this recycled Juice Pouch gown will be made available for the masses, but I would personally love to see lovely lasses wrapped in this appealing eco-friendly outfit.
