It is apparently not quite heavy on the pocket to afford jarring music for a party! Well, not anymore at least. The meagre paraphernalia you need to put together your very own stereo-system powered by the sun is a small digital amplifier, a pair of bookshelf speakers, batteries, a small solar panel, and an MP3 player.
The only expensive part in this set-up is the digital amplifier. Instructables user pekar recommends a Sonic Impact 5065 Gen 2 T-Amp, costing about $60. The solar panel priced at about $10 will enable you to put together this system under $75. Sun can be a real boon to put together a box of boom.
