Eco Factor: 12W LED bulb to replace conventional incandescent light bulbs
We are well aware of the energy-sucking incandescent bulbs and are found looking for its greener replacement every now and then. Philips brings us the perfect substitute, the 12-watt EnduraLED. The world’s first replacement for the commonly used 60 watt incandescent recently unveiled by the company consumes only 20% of the energy.
Philip’s new 12 watt wonder bulb is the best and the easiest way to meet terms with the world’s energy crisis. Functioning with standard dimmers and emitting soft white glow, the latest green technology can last 25 times longer than a conventional incandescent. There has been no word about its pricing, but it is anticipated to hit the U.S. market by the fourth quarter of 2010.
