Eco Factor: Nissan to power GT-R using batteries and electric motors.

A car that was associated with Nissan’s heritage was under consideration for dropping out from the company’s lineup due to high fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The legacy continuing car I am referring to here is the “Nissan GT-R”. But, it seems like Nissan doesn’t choose to part ways with this stunning car, instead, the next-gen sports car might soon be seen using batteries and electric motors.

Nissan wishes to offer a green and fuel-efficient car, but without compromising with the driving pleasure. The automaker has already succeeded in developing exciting hybrids cars and hopes that this shift to an all-electric sports car works out for it. A revised version of the current GT-R with up to 530 horsepower is expected to be confirmed before the end of the year, but the all-electric model has yet to be signed off by the company.
