My love for recycled stuff inspires me to put to use everything that is lying around unused. I just cannot think of throwing anything in the bin without putting it to a secondary use. Even it means to wear jewelry crafted out of plastic bottles, circuit boards, hairpins, phone-cards! And believe me that you won’t look like some on-foot rubbish bin. Take a look at this line of recycled jewelry of MANA designed by Brazilian eco designer Mana Bernardes. And with the launch of the TOUCH | NY exhibit, it’s now coming to New York so all the eco-chic gals with some soft corner for our planet can grab ’em and sport the eco look. I am itching to wear the Spatial Necklace that seems to be made out of Plastic Sequin or Nylon. It is ideal for a cool green summer style. And if you want something bolder and funky then how about the Clasp necklace made of recycled Black and Light Gold hair pins and a little rubber to adjust the size.

That takes care of highlighting your necklines, but here are bracelets that are crafted out of net and buttons. Directly from the hands of the designers to your lovely dainty hands!

Mana’s team refashions seemingly unusable materials such as PET bottles, phone cards, toothpicks, hair clips, plastic netting, pearls, silver, and gold into their handcrafted collection. If you are in the New York City area and want to check out the stunning Mana Collection yourself, head over to Chelsea in the next couple of days to check out the TOUCH | NEW YORK exhibit.

I’m sure they won’t be that tough on your pockets too!
