Know how harsh your surrounding industrial and outdoor environments are with the help of a new RFID tag designed specifically for this. The tag — announced by Sokymat SA, a Granges, Switzerland-based RFID supplier — is named IN Tag.
It can be used in high thermal or mechanical stress conditions, like items that undergo hot water cleaning processes or are used in other high temperature environments, which is generally found in some heavy industries.
This Tag is health-friendly and can be used safely in contact with food and drinks. It can also withstand peak temperatures of up to 140°C for many hours. A new generation thermoplastic casing is used in the tag, which has a high chemical stability level. Thus, it is resistant to most standard industrial chemicals.
