You can go eco-friendly even when cleaning your home. UK – British celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson has launched a new range of environmentally-friendly cleaning products, derived from natural plant extracts. But, the Clean and Green range of biodegradable products had to pass stringent eco-criteria set by WWF. It seeks to identify items that have minimal impacts on the environment. Also by using sustainable agricultural practices, the natural ingredients in the household products are produced.
“The safety of our environment is of paramount importance to me, particularly concerning is the millions of liters of chemicals and toxins discharged into the ecosystem every year,” Thompson said. The range comprises of seven items that includes an anti-bacterial all purpose cleaner, kitchen degreaser, stain remover, odor neutralizer & air freshener, anti-bacterial hand-wash and an anti-bacterial washing liquid. Starting December, the complete range will be available from WWF’s online shop.
