Many of you would be opting to live in the woods in an eco-friendly prefab. However, what if you are miles away from the nearest wireless signal and you need to get some urgent work done.

Till now there weren’t many options available to help you maintain your earth-friendliness. However now, a company called Meraki has come to help you out in the woods. They have introduced a $549 router/repeater kit that is solar powered and can easily form a wireless mesh network with other wireless units. This all weather device comes for $549 and the best option is that the device also allows you to run ads and other clever marketing techniques.

The company also has some great names such as Google on its back and the product is undergoing tests in San Francisco. The device can do well in developing countries where wireless networks are not available in every corner of the country. The company hopes to make the product available by the end of this year.
