Linx : Eco Friendly Prefab for construction workers

linx1

Workers on a construction site are probably going to heartily thank Dublin-based industrial designer Richard Barnwall for coming up with the concept of temporary container shelter in Linx. The idea sounds simple but ingenuous. The Linx is an integrated, two-story structure that makes optimum use of available space.

The shelter, an accessory building for work sites, meant for construction workers to relax during breaks is made out of 20-foot shipping containers. Actually, it is more than just a shelter. It has amenities that can give any real home the royal shame. The shelter is complete with office work-space, kitchen, dining area, showers, toilets, sliding panels to provide light and ventilation as well as storage space for mechanical systems.
