Italian masterpiece to sport natural lighting and a solar rooftop

Office Building and Logistic Center

Gone are the days of lavish excesses, dazzling colors, elaborate designs and intricate patterns. Modern architecture is all about saying as much as possible with as little as possible and the minimalistic trends today is a reflection of just that. The elegant backs clubbed with serene whites and neutral grays to create contours that dazzle with flowing simplicity. The latest design from ModoStudio Architecture for Office and Logistic Centre is all that and a lot more.

Positioned just off of the busy highway that connects the northern and southern parts of Italy, the buildings location itself should attract quite a few to embrace it as their next headquarters. The interiors of the structure are designed in a fashion that highlights ergonomic designwhich is ideal for workplace. The 2000 square meter office space on both the levels of the building, the logistic areas and the interlinking corridors are all designed to utilize as much space as possible.

The reliance on artificial lighting and heating needs are kept to a minimal with large partitions of glass and skylights that offer plenty of ventilation. This ensures that the building saves plenty of energy during the daytime and also offers wonderful views for those inside. The highlight of the structure (as far as we are concerned, at least) is the 550Kw powered solar rooftop that should account for most of the structure’s energy needs, if not all.

With the solar rooftop on place, natural ventilation, green surroundings that regulate internal temperature to a great extent and minimalistic design, carbon footprint of this new office space is kept to a bare minimum. The use of concrete panels with a rhomboidal pattern during the construction, plenty of roof-to-floor windows and smart design have ensured that the Office and Logistics Center goes easy on the planet during construction and thereafter as well.
