indoor hydroponic garden

One of the more prodigious entries at the Australian Design Award is the Indoor hydroponic garden presented by student designer John Pallot. His design basically proposes an indoor, automated hydroponic garden that fulfills the Dyson criteria by incorporating a system that can facilitate the growth of plant life in an apartment with little maintenance and minimum to no access to natural light. Pallot’s design uses a programmable system which regulates the amount of water, food and light supplied to the plant according to the users’ requirement as per the growth of the plant. The whole unit requires less than 12V power to operate and has a 4.5L tank that can anywhere between 1-3 months while functioning properly in a environments with full to no sunlight and also as an attractive room divider.
