Manufactured by Parants, a day-lighting company, the hybrid lighting system uses a heliostat as a sun-tracking mirror that mechanically follows the sun to reflect light into a shaded area with the use of optical cables and mirror of mirrors. The technology presents an energy efficient option in heliostats that cut down electricity bills and drastically reduce carbon footprint, which is good news for the environment.
