Eco Factor: Concept cooker powered by solar energy.
The Hot-Liner is a concept solar cooker designed by Korean designers Yonggu Do, Sukhoon HONG and Eunha SEO with an aim to reduce the number of trees that are cut down each year for firewood. Designed to be used in rural African countries, the Hot-Liner concept features a flexible battery, a solar panel and a flexible solar cell to harvest renewable solar energy.
With flexible PV cells and battery the concept cooker can change its shape depending on the intensity of flame and the size of the bowl. The Hot-Liner can also be connected with other Hot-Liners to enhance temperature or increase the cooking surface area.
