Battery-powered vehicles and its hydrogen counterparts have their own share of pros and cons, but which one is cleaner is the question. It seems like Hamburg goes with hydrogen advocates, at least this latest video of the Hamburg hydrogen bus fleet points towards that. This video clearly lists the advantages and disadvantages of both the technologies.
Although the recording shows the darker sides of both the technologies, but the crux of it is that hydrogen is a better choice. Featuring the hydrogen-powered buses that roam the roads of Hamburg, the video points out that hydrogen though expensive can be green, whereas battery power is cheaper, but unlikely to be as clean. These buses get their hydrogen fuel by using the wind to a certain extent and emit only water, offering a perfect green ride you ever wished for.
