MTI Micro has released design plans for a new methanol fuel cell battery to power mobile devices. MTI Micro’s Mobion is based on patented direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) technology, and represents a number of scientific breakthroughs that the Company believes can power portable devices 2 to 10 times longer than an equivalent size battery pack, while allowing for instant, cord-free re-charging. MTI Micro has developed a patented, miniaturized proprietary direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) technology called Mobion, which generates electrical power using 100% methanol as fuel. So we are all in for a treat as far as the green technology is concerned. Though the alternate energy is still in its early stages, but yes the awareness is growing and that’s some positive indications. Good going!
