Green structure of ENI Foundation derives deep inspiration from Palazzo

The palatial Renaissance Palazzo, situated within the heart of the Italian city, has given a deep inspiration to the new headquarters of the ENI Foundation. Dutch firm UNStudio has conceived the VI Palazzo ENI that will be situated outside Milan, Italy, in San Donato Milanese.

ENI is an affiliate of the United Nations and is majorly involved with bringing about variously done up research topics on the various pressing concerns plaguing the environment these days. Being a non profit organization, they are majorly involved in bringing about a sustainable change in the way human activities affect the nature and taking things to a more eco friendly level. The sustainable creation is a great blend of both contemporary and traditional elements with a touch of history. VI Palazzo ENI will also input power in the local smart grid that too in less than ten years.

The building has a very conceptual approach, given the fact that it has multiple interwoven circular structures, each imposing a message onto the other. They have been designed in such a way so as to ensure they have their own cortile, bring about a green revolution in the structure. The structure is so unique; it brings about a feeling of great utility to not only the building structure but also to the people in and around it. The interwoven structure of the building clearly gives out a message of harmony, peace and positivity to the people inside as well as outside.
