GM reveals its ambitions for Chevrolet EN-V 2.0 concept car

The first look at Chevrolet EN-V 2.0 concept car and you know the roads of the future will indeed be interesting and make way for better mobility that is more efficient, high tech and also friendly to the environment. It was back in 2010, when General Motors had first revealed its ambitions about Chevrolet EN-V 2.0 at the World Expo 2010, Shanghai. Since then the company is working toward insinuating a revolution in the EN-V (Electric networked vehicle) segment.

Engineers and designers at GM had to explore a range of options and have till date come up with three different sequels, including the latest one. The technologies that they plan to integrate the vehicle with include mobility internet, telematics and electrification.

EN-V 2.0 concept will be powered by a lithium ion battery just like the previous versions. The battery will get recharged from a conventional power outlet and give a range of 25 miles with a single charge. An autonomous mode integrated in the car, will be connected to an intra vehicle communications and traffic infrastructure. This will offer a more cordial and reliable solution to traffic management and parking availability.

The advanced vehicle will also be more consumer friendly. It will have an in vehicle climate control and sufficient storage space. No matter what the weather conditions are or how rough the roads, it will give you smooth ride throughout.
