Here is a mobile that is really green and eco-friendly and when I say this most people might just feel that this is one of those fancy phones with an odd green feature or two trying to pass off as something that it is not. But we at Ecofriend do not advocate green unless we really believe that it is and since the standards that we judge by only seem to be getting tougher, things do not get past scrutiny that easy. This is the first really green phone that I have seen and while it is within all the safety norms of radiation that mobiles need to be, it is all about going green in grand style!

Vertu Essence is an ecologically sensitive mobile handset for the eco-luxury market. The outer casing is made from bamboo. The ceramic titanium core with sapphire crystal screen lasts several lifetimes. Essence comes with lifetime service where cases can be exchanged and firmware can be upgraded. All exchanged parts are reused or recycled by the company meaning that you add nothing to the trash bin.

It has a Low-Powered OLED touch screen which makes it state of the art and branded keypad figures make it something that will last long without tarnish. It has various energy saving modes and the Titanium trim on top makes it almost world class. This is quite simple the best green mobile that I have seen till date to hit the market. But do not expect it to go easy on your purse. Despite that, if I could, this would surely be a ‘must buy’ and Vertu Essence shows you that class and style can go hand in hand with green and clean!
