Located in Plaza de Callao, the five-room hotel, which will close January 23rd, was constructed to coincide with the annual International Tourism Fair held in Madrid and includes waste materials ranging from balloons to guitars. The creator states that the Beach Garbage Hotel has been designed because the oceans of our planets are being used as a large garbage dump. About 40 percent of the objects used in the hotel have been collected from the beaches of Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
