Generator that uses yeast-and-sugar to generate electricity

This is the first time I’ve come across an amazing inventor who claims to have invented a generator that uses yeast-and-sugar to generate electricity, but forgot to inform as to how much sugar and yeast does it consume or any other specifications about the ‘product’. Targeting the developing countries where electricity is scarce or unreliable, Dr Cedrick Ngalande (a Malawian national) claims that the generator can be used to charge cell phones, US$100 computer, radios and also provide power for lighting and is capable of running for up to 8 hours at a time.
