An example of this blending can be given to the “Light Spot” designed by German designer Felix Stark.

The system is a sort of sticker that is totally made up of a foil composed of solar cells. It charges itself in the daytime when its button cells are exposed to sunlight and at night it provides light using energy harnessed from sun. These units can be installed as flashlights to indicate exit or escape routes and fire exits etc.
