Eco awareness is gaining prime significance and almost every thing under this sun is being revolutionized by it. Even the definition of luxurious dwellings is changing as recently an Eco house in UK sold for £7.2million. Shaped like a bee orchid, this house is now the UK's most expensive country home too. Called as The Orchid, it is to be built on a 550-acre Cotswold nature reserve. Building work for the house, which is one of the country's most complicated planning applications, will take three years to complete. And if you are wondering that why it is called Eco house them it is believed that this den will produce more energy than it uses, with an underground pump and geothermal heating. The identity of the opulently green owner is kept under wraps for privacy reasons. However it is whispered that the buyer will get a lakeside home complete with a glass-sided badger set in the garden. Orchid House will be part of the Lower Mill Estate, built on a privately-owned nature reserve near Cirencester, known as the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’.
