Eco Factor: Company debuts the world’s most powerful solar cell.
While solar module manufacturers are battling hard to increase the output of solar cells even by one percent, Rainbow Solar Inc. has introduced the world’s most powerful silicon solar cell, which is based on the company’s breakthrough SuperPV. The technology, which is being touted as “a milestone in solar technology,” has been confirmed to increase the output of silicon solar cells by as much as 200%.
Under low-light conditions, SuperPV modules generate a constant supply of electricity regardless of the intensity of sunlight and other drop-offs. The output has been monitored and confirmed by Osaka University’s Center for Advanced Science and Innovation.
