Eco Factor: Fully functional helicopter created from scrap metal.
Scrap metal is often confused with waste, which in fact if re-used properly can offset tons of carbon dioxide from being released into the atmosphere. Moreover, re-using metal also saves thousands of tons of waste, which is generated in the process of mining new metal for the depths of the planet.
We have seen some ingenious ways DIYers transform scrap metal into products that are termed stunning, but none of them could ever match the skills exhibited by a Chinese farmer who has turned scrap metal into a fully functional helicopter. The Bell 206 designed by the farmer is made from junk collected from the local junkyard using tons of information gathered from books. Check out the video to see the helicopter in action.
