For those who consider themselves an integral part of nature and the environment, SO Architecture have designed unique homes that give new meaning to living with nature. The plan, called “Free Plat(T),” allows people to live without walls just like other creatures on the planet do.
The Free Plan(T) project is a house that flows with nature. When the climate is suitable all common activities take place outside, and when the weather changes, the house morphs to provide shelter to all exterior rooms by a mobile cover, thus protecting the residents from cold or rain.
The off-grid house generates all the energy it needs using photovoltaic panels and the soil excavated during the construction is used for green roofs. The homes will also be opened toward the south to maximize the use of natural light and reduce the burden on the solar panels.
