The market of solar chargers seems flooding with new entrants every day, but only a few recognize the nature of sunshine, which might not be present when you’re actually in need of a charge. Of the thousands of solar chargers, the USB Solar Charger from Japan’s Thanko doesn’t allow you to get back to the wall socket if you want a recharge after dark.
The gadget carries a solar panel and an on-board battery that can be recharged via the sun and via a USB port too. The charger is available for $21 at Thanko’s store.
