EcoFactor:
Sony Ericsson intends to soon bring out a new line of mobiles loaded with eco-friendly features.

After Nokia and Samsung adopted pretty aggressive green campaigns with their mobile phone designs, Sony Ericsson seems to have woken up and have come out with a green phone series. Dubbed the “GreenHeart Concept,” the new mobiles would sport planet-friendly features such as use of recycled paper, bioplastic, online user manuals and a charger that goes easy on energy by drawing 3.5mW in a trickle mode. For now, there is no definitive release date on the new product line, but the company is out asking its consumers which green features they want to see in their green phones.

The Dark Side:

If you thought that we did not find a picture of the GreenHeart Series prototype and just ripped out the heart of the Incredible Hulk for the snap, then you are mistaken. It seems that Sony Ericsson is not too serious about the whole concept and so, instead of at least giving us an early preview, they just put out a green heart. Hopefully, the concept will actually come through with some real green features.
