We all know that the amount of solar energy falling on solar panels is directly proportional to the electricity produced. Flexible solar panels solve some issues related to solar installation but they don’t have any great effect on the amount of electricity being produced. The Solar Stand is a “patent-pending” product that has the ability to better the performance of solar modules without making any change in their overall design.
Designed by Tom Fereday, the Solar Stand is a movable stand for solar panels that can be altered to alter the position and the angle at which sun’s rays are hitting the photovoltaic panels, eventually increasing their output. Tom believes that his simple yet unique product can improve the output of solar panels by as much as 35%, which will definitely bring some smiles on the face of every solar lover.
The Dark Side:
The mount on the whole does prove its worth by increasing the overall output of solar panels. However, the design is completely manual, which requires the owner to shift the panels after every hour or so since the sun does change its position continuously.
