Technology has certainly made our lives easy, but powering all those electronic items is not as easy on the environment. To make things better for the environment, industrial and product designers have always shown their skills in designing products that we might become accustomed to in the near future. The Solar Plant is one such innovative way to power electronic items using nothing more than the green and renewable energy of the sun.
Designed by Korean designer Ku Bon Seop, the Solar Plant transforms sunlight into electric energy that could power everything from laptop computers to PMPs. The foldable device needs the user to press the solar panel on top of the pot to pop it out and start generating green electricity. Once your gadget is fully charged the user can push the solar panel back inside the pot.
The Dark Side:
The Solar Plant shows a trendy and stylish way to generate green electricity. However, with just a single solar panel resting on top of the pot, we are skeptical of the amount of energy it will be able to generate.
