Eco Factor: Cordless phones made from 20 percent recycled materials.
Motorola has upgraded their range of stylish cordless home-phones with two new entrants – D10 and D11 — that not only promise to enhance your living style, but also add a touch of green to it. Created by the award winning design team of Motorola, the phones have been made from 20 percent recycled materials. Apart from an eco-friendly body, the phones come with features such as “Eco Mode” that reduces battery consumption during a call and enhances talk-time.
The Dark Side:
The base station of a cordless phone needs to be kept connected to the power supply even when it’s not in use, thereby wasting more electricity than what the “Eco Mode” of the phone can actually save.
