Eco Factor: Solar-powered rotating pot sounds an alarm when plant needs water.
Board meetings, traveling, office work or a party, there is always a dearth of time for those little innocent plants that do so much for us. While some plants like a cactus might survive despite of our busy schedules, there are others that just die a thirsty death. Julien Bergignat‘s Mon Pot is one such pot that can save these plants from a quiet death.
The pot is more of a timer that requires the user to just turn it toward one of the time indicators according to the water needs of the plant. Once timed, the pot sounds an alarm, alerting the user to water the plants. The pot is designed to have a solar-powered rotating base that also allows the plant to have the most of the sun.
The Dark Side:
The designed doesn’t make any comment on the technical details on how much energy will be generated via the solar panels and how it will be stored.
