Eco Factor: Concept lamp designed to run on solar energy.
With the world looking for possible ways to fuel our future generations with clean energy, industrial designers are leaving no stone unturned to show us a glimpse of a green world where everyday gadgets will make be powered by renewable electricity.
Industrial designer Rui Palma has come up with a concept lamp that harvests solar energy for nighttime illumination. Dubbed the Lucet, the lamp’s organic and relaxed forms enable the user to create the different patterns on the windows of his or her house.
The Lucet sticks to windows and harvests solar energy during the day to give light at night. The solar panel feeds two AAA batteries so the three white LED can give a strong white glow to the house after dark.
