Eco Factor: Real-time energy monitoring device encourages homeowners to save energy.
The best way to conserve energy is to keep a check on what appliances are running in your home and how much energy they’re using, especially if they are plugged in without any use. Home Automation Inc. is showing off a new energy monitoring display that helps customers get real-time information on the amount of energy being consumed in their house at any given moment of time.
The device comes with a graphical color-coded display that is wirelessly updated from within the home and directly from your energy provider. The units can also receive real-time messages from the utility company regarding billing and energy prices. If the basic display is dull for your liking, the company has also launched the HAI OmniTouch 5.7e and the OmniTouch 10p touchscreen systems for you to check your energy statistics with a touch.
