Eco Factor: An adaptable system merging the energy of the sun and the wind.
What the world needs today are solutions to the grave problem of energy demands. Energy is hard to come by, and the best way to generate energy today is by making use of renewable sources that nature has in store for us. Whenever we talk about renewable sources, the sun and wind power alternatives strike our mind first, the reason being their compactness and easy installation. However, both sun and wind power come with their own set of disadvantages that make these generators dependent on the climatic conditions of the place where they are to be installed.
Solving the issues that come with both these power generation techniques is the Solar Stik. This versatile system makes use of not one, but both the prime sources of renewable energy, that is the sun and the wind. The system comes with two 50-watt solar panels that are capable of producing 80 Amp-hours per day, and after the sun sets, the wind turbine that is mounted atop the solar panels can take charge.
The Dark Side:
The system has shown that it can serve a wide array of customers with a hybrid design. But selling at $5,000, the system is a bit too pricy to lure customers.
