EcoFactor: Solves reusable energy storage woes.

The recent nanotech discovery by a bunch of researchers from the University of Texas at Austin could be a breakthrough in the use of a carbon structure one atom thick, which could pave the way for widespread installation of wind and solar power. Graphene is said to have the potential to double the capacity of existing ultracapacitors, an energy storage device similar to a battery.

But where batteries store electrical energy chemically, utlracapacitors store charges electrostatically. Since storage is the keyword here, the researchers at the University of Texas are hopeful that the graphene-based ultracapacitors could help to stimulate the development of renewable energy power generation.

The Dark Side:

As far as flaws are concerned, I see zilch! This discovery has tremendous potential and needs be explored to the optimum to benefit our planet.
