Eco Factor: Concept car powered by a gasoline/electric hybrid engine.
French car designer Mayeul Walser has made sure that green cars can keep your style intact with a concept car he calls the Saab Fashionista. Certifying its name, the car has been designed for an up-market customer, for whom style always holds more relevance than environmental conservation.
The car is designed to be built on GM’s hybrid platform as used in the Chevrolet Volt. The hybrid engine, which runs on either gasoline or clean electricity, will reduce the car’s emissions, but will also make sure you get enough power for nerve-shattering speeds. The style has been inspired by sci-fi technology, which will make this car appear futuristic and forward thinking while remaining well within the boundaries set by environmentalists.
The Dark Side:
The designer concedes that the car is designed on sci-fi technology, hence it will not make it onto the streets anytime soon.
